The MIII Platform shoots both staples (MIII-FS) or cleats (MIII-FN) for true hardwood flooring.

Laminate floors require a smaller staple, the SX150-BHF2 is designed especially for Bruce Hardwood Flooring material.  The LHF-97125-2 is the general laminate flooring Model.
