A two inch long nose length allows the stapler to be inserted into tight spots and provide a deep means of stapling, that would otherwise be impossible. The well liked DUAL Trigger design means that you don't have a nose safety compressing as the long nose is being placed into close quarters locations. But the long nose also serves those applications where you really need to TILT the tool at a steeper angle in order to reach hard to get to fastening areas. By having this 50mm (2" length) to allow more maneuverability, a world of fastening options are opened up to whatever stapling needs arise.
